About this activity

Anji’s moso bamboo doesn’t grow like a park path—it’s slopes, filtered light, and the sound of wind in the canopy. This day begins on a stone farmer track, climbs to a ridge lookout, then lifts to a clearing for a host-prepared picnic with seasonal mountain dishes and tea. Pace is social, not athletic, but you should be steady on wet stairs.

What you’ll do

  1. Pickup option from Hangzhou high-speed rail meet-point (select at checkout when offered).
  2. Shuttle to trailhead; safety brief and poles issued.
  3. ~3.5 hours mixed shade hike with photo stops and bamboo ecology notes.
  4. Ridge viewpoint break; descend to meadow picnic with reusable tableware.
  5. Optional short boardwalk loop if weather allows; return shuttle timing confirmed morning-of.
